What is Product Operations and Why is Everyone so Excited About It?

Product Calgary is excited to host Denise Tilles, CPO and Founder of Grocket at Platform Calgary on December 12, 2023 to talk about Product Operations. This event is co-sponsored by Platform Calgary and Alberta Innovates.

Denise Tilles will be discussing key takeaways from her recently published book, Product Operations. Co-authored with Escaping the Build Trap’s Melissa Perri, the book is the must-read guide product leaders have been missing. Denise will reveal insights and examples how product operations can be a force multiplier for scaling organizations, based on her own experience and interviewing dozens of scale-up and enterprise companies including Uber, Stripe, Pendo, and more.

About the Presenter

With over a decade of product leadership experience, Denise Tilles works with growth stage and enterprise organizations to transform opportunity into a crisp product vision and strategy. Her product consultancy supports companies like Bloomberg, Sam’s Club and athenahealth to enable meaningful outcomes for customers + the business through targeted support in product operations, product strategy, org design, and coaching.

As an independent consultant and with product consultancy Produx Labs, she’s worked with dozens of Fortune 50 software-enabled enterprises to high growth SAAS scaleups to implement and scale their Product Operations functions.

On the operating side, she’s built and led product teams at Cision, Conde Nast, and Understood.org.
