Doors open at 5pm for networking & the panel is at 5:30pm. This is a member-only event. Please purchase a membership here prior to the event.

Rosheen Hayat, Product Manager, Punchcard Systems

Passionate about problem-solving and dismantling and reassembling challenges, Rosheen brings a unique perspective to the professional arena. With a background in non-tech project management and recent immersion in product management, her expertise lies in consultancy, where she gained the experience in understanding clients' distinct perspectives and crafting optimal solutions. Having undergone product management training, she transitioned into technical roles and entrepreneurial endeavors, ultimately securing a role as a product manager at a digital consultancy firm. Rosheen’s diverse experiences empower her to navigate the intersection of technology, business, and innovation with unwavering confidence and creativity.

Gillian Emerson, Talent Success Manager, Toast

I'm the Talent Success Manager at Toast and a Master of Management grad with a background in Psychology. 

Toast exists to help close the gender gap in the field of tech. Our mission at Toast is to help women get the work they want, for the pay they deserve, and with a community that supports them. We work with mission and impact-driven companies that are committed to increasing the gender equity on their technical teams. As the Talent Success Manager, I identify candidates and forage meaningful connections with our partner organizations. 

With experience in music, entertainment, and the airline industry, I bring a diverse skill set to my role. I have a strategic mindset, drive, and passion for using talent acquisition as a means to forge meaningful connections. I thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments and am deeply committed to fostering teamwork and leveraging the unique strengths of each team member to achieve success.

Oliver Hankinson, Senior Product Manager, Neo Financial

I am a Product professional in Calgary with a passion for demystifying the profession in order to create opportunity for those who might not typically be exposed to the product world. 

During the day I with at Neo Financial, a fintech company focused on revolutionizing the banking ecosystem in Canada so that Canadians can have banking products that actually work for them. Here, I build credit products and have a playground to experiment with the latest product practices to grow my skill and the skills of the team. 

By night (and weekend) I work with Tacit Edge, SAIT and CITI to help grow the tech ecosystem with a focus on helping new Canadians or pivoters understand the tech ecosystem. In this capacity, I have been able to help dozens of people achieve their pivot dreams. 

Priya Biswas, President, Product Calgary (moderator)

Priya is an independent Product Coach and consultant, currently serves as the President of Product Calgary. Bringing more than a decade of Product Management expertise to the forefront, Priya boasts a distinguished career in the automation software industry. For a decade, she played a pivotal product role at GE Digital, followed by a transformative 6-year tenure at ATB Financial.
