About the Presenter
Derek is an active member of Product Calgary. He has close to 20 years of experience in the software industry doing almost every job from software development, to QA, to Project Management and now Product Management. His experience covers Startup to Enterprise. He is currently working at Amazon in the Global Engineering and Security Services team (GESS). He has a BSC in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan, a Masters from Georgia Tech, and a MBA from the University of Fredericton.
